A little sneak peak of summer!

A small glimpse of summer was shown this weekend around the metro area. Portlanders walked the city as the weekly Saturday Market took its course.

Portland, OR Saturday Market

Sadly, this weather won't be sticking around for too long... Monday will be a lot like today, with highs soaring to 80 degrees and bright blue clear skies! By Tuesday the rain is going to pick back up and continue through Thursday. Midway through the week will be the most moisture we see. The weekend is shaping up nice, with some partly cloudy skies and highs around 60-65 degrees. Perfect outdoor weather to go walking or hiking!

Here is FOX 12's 7-day forecast predicted by Chief Meteorologist, Mark Nelson.

Enjoy the last little bit of sun we have left here in the metro area! Stay tuned for next week's live broadcast.

Weather Forecast: March 19

Thanks for watching. Here is my forecast for the week of March 19:

Monday, March 5, 2012

Hopefully getting warmer...

There is a slight chance of some flurries tonight through early tomorrow morning so expect no more than a slight dusting. Tuesday morning is gonna be a chilly one, so watch out for ice! A surprising amount of accidents occur from hitting a patch of black ice. Wednesday is looking much like tuesday, with low temps in the morning rising to the mid 40's through the day. A warm front makes its way through the metro area and creates a warming over Thursday and Friday. We can see temps rise to above 60 degrees in some parts of the valley! For us west coast people, 60 degrees means shorts and a t-shirt! The weekend is looking to be a wet one, with rain moving in saturday evening through the last of the weekend. Enjoy the rest of your week!

The end of February!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, things have been crazy! But I'm back to bring you your weather forecast for the end of February! Sadly, it's looking a bit wet as predicted. Today through tomorrow will be mainly dry with partly cloudy skies. The wet weather doesn't move in until late monday night, so remember to be careful if you're driving tuesday morning, roads could be slick! Watch for traffic delays and black ice on the road. Throughout Tuesday and part of Wednesday, snow level drops to 1000 feet! We could see a trace of snow on the valley floor, but its highly unlikely knowing the northwest. The places that will most likely see up to a dusting of snow will be the higher elevations. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are looking pretty rainy, so stay indoors!

Snow on the way!

Hey guys! I know you are all probably wondering... When is the snow going to get here!?!? Well, snow is in the forecast for sure. According to FOX 12, @ http://www.kptv.com/, rain and snow showers should be starting tonight a little after sunset. There will be a mix of rain and snow transitioning into all snow late tonight through sunday and monday. Here is FOX 12's 7-Day Forecast and a video weather update with meteorologist Stephanie Kralevich's forecast!

Snow showers can accumulate to 1-3 inches on the valley floor, and expect more in the West Hills. Be expecting road and traffic delays over the next couple of days. Prepare yourself with the proper necessities for safety, as well as travel.

Have a great 3 day weekend everyone! Pray for snow!
